FAMILY

TATU

Nickname of Angelo, second son of Cosimo and Maria Teresa. A Primitivo with 10% Aglianico, with a strong and decisive character.

It is the family members who bring this collection to life. Cosimo, Maria Teresa, Marzia, Angelo, and Chicca — each with their own unique personality — have inspired a distinctive, special wine. And to tell the story of this great winemaking family, two wines: La Riserva 1921, which celebrates the origins, and Masseria Pizzariello, which honors the first hundred years.

Deep red with purple hints.

Winemaking: maceration at controlled temperature of 26°-28°C. After malolactic fermentation, aged in French tonneau for at least 3 months.

On the nose, ripe red fruits with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate, balanced and savory, with good persistence, and a strong, decisive character.

Perfect with meat sauce, spicy meat dishes, game, and aged cheese.
