Primitivo di Manduria, with a very intense red color with slight garnet reflections.
Temperature-controlled maceration at 26°C with maceration of the pomace even after the alcoholic fermentation ends. Aging for about 18 months in large barrels, with a further 9 months of aging in stainless steel.
Aromas of very ripe red berry fruit, dried fig, and sour cherries in spirits, with vanilla notes. On the palate, it is ample, structured, soft, and elegant in its fruity notes, mitigated by sweet hints of cloves and black pepper.
It pairs perfectly with game and red meats.
