“The Best Italian Wines 2017,” an exciting event held in Rome last week, to which the Apulian company Varvaglione 1921 was invited for the 98 points awarded to the wine “Papale Linea Oro – Primitivo di Manduria DOP” in the category “Best Red Wine of Italy.”
“I Migliori Vini Italiani” is the name of the prestigious wine event led and conceived by Luca Maroni at “Il Salone delle Fontane” in the central Eur area, considered the main business hub of the capital.
During the evening, the Italian wines featured in the yearbook of “I Migliori Vini Italiani 2017” were awarded, including our “Papale Linea Oro-Primitivo di Manduria DOP”.
The award for the 98 points earned by our Primitivo di Manduria DOP was received by Dr. Marzia Varvaglione, who emphasized that Papale Linea Oro is a wine that represents Puglia, as it is a Primitivo di Manduria DOP—the ultimate expression of this territory.
