ROSÉXPO, “International Rosé Wine Exhibition” organized by “deGusto Salento” – association of Negroamaro producers, with the support of the Municipality of Lecce – is presenting its III edition from June 3 to 5, 2016, and will offer interesting rosé tastings in the historic and evocative location of the Castello Carlo V in the heart of the City of Lecce.

Roséxpo is not just rosé wine: it's a space where culture welcomes its public with lights, sounds, traditions, works of art, books, aperitifs, and gourmet proposals in a dynamic social context with more than 150 Italian labels for tasting and 46 foreign ones from 14 different territories. The program includes masterclasses, tastings, and seminars for good wine lovers and experts, and of course the best selection of rosé wines from the Varvaglione winery.

One of the most important events that the Apulia region sanctions with the world of rosé wine is returning to Lecce, and this Roséxpo 2016 will also feature a collaboration with Radici del Sud, one of the most active institutions in promoting food and wine culture. The honorable Dorina Bianchi, undersecretary to the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, will perform the ribbon-cutting for the 2016 edition and will be present at the conference on the topic "The value of rosé wine".

Another illustrious name present at the international exhibition will be Ilaria Donateo, president of "deGusto Salento", the association of Negroamaro producers who comments: "Roséxpo was born with the intent to enhance rosé wines starting from the experience of Salento and promoting a comparison with other grape varieties and territories from Italy and abroad. A comparison with other realities is essential in our policy, thanks to which we have established important partnerships through which we tell the story of the wine world starting from the peculiarities of the territories."

There are three tasting paths coordinated by Slow Wine and in collaboration with the Italian Sommelier Association and Radici del Sud. The first event for good wine lovers will be on Saturday, June 4th at 6:30 PM in the Pignatelli hall of the Castello Carlo V.
It continues the following day, Sunday, June 5th at 6:00 PM in the Pignatelli hall of the Castello Carlo V, with a window on the rosés of the world, a technical tasting to discover labels from different countries that will be tasted and commented on by Fabio Giavedoni and Giuseppe Baldassarre, a member of the national commission for Ais education.
The last masterclass will feature a focus and a comparison between two southern territories, Sicily VS Calabria (Sunday, June 5th at 7:45 PM in the Pignatelli hall of the Castello Carlo V).
