From November 4 to 8, 2016, Merano (Bolzano) will host the 25th edition of the Merano Wine Festival, Italy’s largest showcase dedicated to the world’s finest wines, which will be the main focus of events and tastings in the impressive Kurhaus, located in the center of the Trentino city.
At the Merano Wine Festival, only the best is savored, from historic vintages of Italian wines to emerging producers, along with the typical flavors of the region. Among the guests and exhibitors, our winery Varvaglione 1921 will also be present with the “Papale Linea Oro – Primitivo di Manduria DOP,” which was awarded the Merano Wine Award after achieving a score above 88/100 points.
The Merano Wine Festival will take place alongside Culinaria, the Festival of Traditional Flavors; BeerPassion, dedicated to craft beers; GourmetArena, focused on high-end cuisine; and Bio\&Dinamica, celebrating the excellence of organic wine. On this occasion, in the Bio\&Dinamica section, our winery Varvaglione 1921 will present the new “12 e mezzo Primitivo Puglia IGP Biologico.”
Moreover, the 2016 edition will offer the opportunity to taste not only the best wines available on the Italian and international markets, but also gourmet delicacies, along with a unique selection of craft beers and grappas.
