AWC Vienna International Wine Challenge 2015, one of the most important competitions among winemakers worldwide, took place on October 25, 2015 at Vienna City Hall.

In an imperial setting, where history and art are in the air, the presentation of the finest wines from the most prestigious wineries around the world took place, with the presence of over 3,000 wine professionals.

The renowned Salento winery Varvaglione Vigne & Vini was present at this important event, earning the prestigious and authoritative silver medal for several of its wines, including: Papale Linea Oro – Primitivo di Manduria PDO, Il Cardinale Linea Oro – Primitivo di Manduria PDO, Papale – Primitivo di Manduria PDO, Chicca – Primitivo di Manduria Dolce Naturale DOCG, 12 e mezzo – Rosato del Salento IGP, 12 e mezzo – Negroamaro del Salento IGP, 12 e mezzo – Malvasia del Salento IGP, Tatu – Primitivo del Tarantino IGP, Margrande – Fiano Salento IGP.
