Negroamaro, with an intense red color and deep purplish reflections.
Vinification with controlled temperature maceration at 24°-26°C. After malolactic fermentation (MLF), aging in French casks and American tonneaux for at least 6 months.
On the nose, notes of red fruit, black pepper, cinnamon, tobacco, and distinct hints of licorice. It leaves a persistent balsamic complexity on the palate.
Excellent with red meat, sauces, and aged cheeses.
