Chicca stands for Francesca, the youngest in the family, and it's the winery's only DOCG: Primitivo di Manduria Dolce Naturale... sweet like Chicca.
Primitivo di Manduria, with a brilliant red color.
Vinification with controlled temperature maceration at a maximum of 26°C. The fermentation cycle stops spontaneously at around 15 alcohol by volume. Aging in 10 hl barrels for at least 8 months.
The prevalent aromas are those of cherry, ripe plum, and blackcurrant with beautiful spicy notes. On the palate, it is a wine of excellent structure, rich in persistent sensations that leave a long-lasting taste memory.
It pairs well with almond-based desserts and aged cheeses.
