This Christmas, Varvaglione 1921 wants to bring a gift into our customers' homes, but with a touch of fun, just like those long bingo nights during the holiday season.
It will be the blindfolded goddess of fortune who decides who wins... and what. The certainty, however, is that everyone will win something. Here comes the new version of the wine bottle dedicated to Christmas: this year it becomes a game to share with friends, around the table set for the holidays. Every year brings a new surprise for the highly anticipated Christmas Edition of the 12eMezzo Collection, a cult among the wine lines from the Varvaglione family. "A bottle to unwrap in the true sense of the word, or rather, to scratch, relying superstitiously on luck," says Marzia Varvaglione. "An opportunity for our customers to play with the wine bottle and search for winning symbols."
The label for the Christmas Edition 12eMezzo wine features a Christmas tree constructed from geometric shapes resembling gift packages. However, three of these packages look different from the others. "Following the 'unwrap the paper' game, typical for children, we imagined creating a scratch-off label to win a prize. Our invitation is to virtually unwrap our gifts under a special tree depicted on the labels of the 12eMezzo wine line." A notebook or a t-shirt: both gifts will feature illustrations of some of the world's most beautiful cities, each ideally featuring a bottle from the Varvaglione 1921 catalog.
«We want to remember the world that welcomes us, all those cities that we haven't visited for many months due to the pandemic, but to which we are bound by personal affection as well as long-standing commercial relationships,» comments Marzia Varvaglione. "And if the t-shirt or notepad symbols don't appear?"
