From November 5th to 9th, the event returns in person: Merano WineFestival
Marzia Varvaglione: We're going to Merano with three award-winning wines.
The Merano WineFestival is back in person for its 30th edition, with the theme 'The Wings of Beauty'.
The Varvaglione 1921 team is ready for another exciting trip after participating in the Vinitaly Special Edition. This time, the emblematic wines of Puglia and Primitivo di Manduria are heading North to one of the oldest and most authoritative events in the wine world.
So, the thirtieth edition will feature 160 selected wineries: only those that have received The WineHunter Award will be available for tasting at the Festival
And Varvaglione 1921 will be in Merano with as many as three medals and three awarded labels: Collezione Privata Cosimo Varvaglione Salento Negroamaro Rosso IGP 2017, which received The Wine Hunter Award Red; Primadonna Puglia Chardonnay IGP 2020, which also received the red medal; and Collezione Privata Cosimo Varvaglione Primitivo di Manduria DOP 2017, the Wine Hunter Award Gold, a gold medal in 2021.
«We're very happy to return to attending the most important events for Italy's wine scene in person," comments Marzia Varvaglione. "And echoing the words of Merano Wine Festival founder Helmuth Köcher, this truly is the edition that represents rebirth.»
