With 12 editions behind it and extraordinary success in previous years, Vinòforum 2016 will be an event aimed not only at wine lovers but also at anyone wishing to spend ten days and ten nights dedicated to fine drinking and the Roman social scene.
This edition of Vinòforum promises to be full of surprises, brimming with events and novelties; the number of visitors expected each evening will be huge, as will the participating stands and Michelin-starred chefs.
The numbers for the event are truly impressive: 500 wineries present; 2,500 different wine labels; 20 temporary restaurants; 10 Michelin-starred chefs and 10 master pizzaioli. The restaurants set up for the event will feature special menus coordinated with the prestigious wines of the participating wineries, including the renowned Puglian wines from the Salento-based Varvaglione winery, among which are those from the “12 e mezzo” line. The Vinòforum area will be open from 7:00 PM to midnight from Thursday to Sunday, while on Friday and Saturday, it will remain open until 1:00 AM. During opening hours, visitors can taste the chefs’ specialties, sample the wines, and enjoy a unique evening in the evocative setting of Lungotevere Maresciallo Diaz, creating a magical atmosphere perfect for the inaugural edition of Vinòforum 2016.
